Daltile to Participate in Season 3 of Tiny House Nation
Daltile will be participating in the upcoming season of FYI’s “Tiny House Nation”, which follows renovations experts John Weisbarth and Zack Griffin as they travel across America to show off ingenious small spaces and the inventive people who live in them.
Daltile has partnered with the show since the series premiered in September 2014, and has helped dozens of tiny homeowners imagine what’s possible in their 500 square-foot-or-less spaces.
“Tiny House Nation” was inspired by an increasing number of Americans who are downsizing their homes to either simplify their lives or gain financial independence.
Furthermore, although there is no official definition of a tiny house, it is generally thought of as a small house, typically sized under 600 square feet. While a tiny house can be built on foundations, most tiny homes are built on trailers. This style of tiny house is often referred to as a THOW (tiny house on wheels) or a tiny house cabin.
Although anyone can benefit from the advantages of living in a tiny house, there are three groups in which tiny living is soaring in popularity. Accordingly, it seems to be the case that younger individuals, couples that do not have children, as well as those entering retirement are driving the movement.
Ultimately, there are several advantages to building a tiny house on a trailer. The two most favorable are mobility and getting around local rules that dictate minimum structure size. Above all, if you are considering transitioning to tiny living then why not look in your local area to see if a tiny house group already exists.
Season 3 premieres Saturday, March 26 at 9/8c on FYI.
