Marketing Tile & Design Using Instagram
With only one week to go, Coverings exhibitors are stirring up excitement with previews of new tile designs, patterns and colors!
Set for April 4-7 in Orlando, FL, the 2017 edition of the annual Coverings tile and stone exhibition promises to break previous attendance records!
Now, before you set foot on the show floor, here are a few tips to keep in mind:
- Bring your phone charger because you’ll be snapping pictures for DAYS!
- Wear comfortable shoes
- Have a plan (so important)
- Attend a BYTE session about marketing on Instagram.
Wait, you didn’t know about the BYTE sessions? Well, let me elaborate. With my dear friend and colleague Irene Williams, founder and CEO of MSG2MKT, we’ll be talking about how to market and leverage your Instagram. I’ll be co-presenting two editions of “Picture This: Instagram as a Customer Connection Tool” instructing you on how to tailor Instagram images to their highest potential and viewer reach. The world of marketing takes on many forms. There are website add-ons like those Salesforce provide, to enhance customer service and market items the customer may not know about. But a marketing tool often overlooked is the Instagram social media platform which has the potential to bring in a number of potential customers to your site. The larger your following the more likely you are to attract attention with posts that we will help you know how to make. If there is time, we may also touch on how to grow your Instagram account, which aids the marketing of your images, using things like Ingramer. There is a lot to discuss with Instagram bots like Ingramer though, so we will only skim over the topic. Looking deeper into Ingramer has been left to Platypus Reviews, who give an in-depth insight into using it.
How long are these sessions, you ask? Only 15 minutes, and they take place directly on the show floor, in the Coverings Connect area (booth 1568)! How convenient is that?
If you’d like more details and the days/times of the BYTE sessions, check out my interview with another dear colleague and friend, Christine Whittemore, recently conducted!
See you next week!
