Tile of Spain Issues Call for Entries for its 2025 ‘Passport to Creativity’
Tile of Spain, the international brand representing more than 100 ceramic tile manufacturers belonging to the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturer’s Association (ASCER), is accepting entries, now through December 31st, 2024, for the 2025 edition of the “Passport to Creativity” tour.
Now in its 13th year, “Passport to Creativity” honors the rich heritage of Spanish ceramics by inviting a curated group of architects, interior designers and industry professionals on a trip to Valencia, Spain.* Throughout this immersive 5-day tour, attendees will gain deep knowledge of the origin of ceramics, manufacturing techniques and the technical and aesthetic qualities of various styles of tile.
This year’s tour will take place in late February 2025, with exact dates to be announced. Attendees will begin the trip by attending Cevisama, the International Tile and Bath Furnishing Show, held in Valencia, Spain, from February 24th – 28th, 2025. Following the show, participants will enjoy guided tours of Tile of Spain manufacturers’ facilities, explore local historical landmarks and immerse themselves in Spanish culture, all while earning CEU credits.
“During our annual ‘Passport to Creativity’ tour, guests embark on an educational journey, gaining first-hand experience of the unique advantages of ceramic tiles from Spanish manufacturers and tile experts,” states Rocamador Rubio, Director of Tile of Spain for the USA. “Participants will deepen their understanding of the history of ceramics, while exploring the aesthetic, technical and functional benefits of Spanish tile. This valuable knowledge can be applied to their designs, helping them meet the evolving demands of interior, exterior, commercial and residential projects.”
